(Report to the Plant Managing Director )1) Manage the whole operations in PKI YT plant, including Manufacturing, Engineering, spyder jacketsProduction Control & spyder jacketslogistics, Quality, and HR.2) Drive the lean manufacturing and cost reduction in the plant, such as improving the labor efficiency, reducing the scrap%, lowering the inventory, increasing the capacity utilization, etc. north face jacketsnorth face jackets
3) Implement overall Operating System change in the plant following a logical Kaizen approach (from diagnosis to precondition, simplification, connections, standardization, and resource utilization improvement) to ensure the right part, right time, right quantity with build in quality and high resource utilization. 4) Planning annual budget and lunch QVC workshop and other productivity improvement projects to meet the cost model and plant declaration. 5) Lead the quality and safety walk in the workshop and implement the office and manufacturing ergo in the plant to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. 6) Oversee the staffing and training of the new employee to ensure the company and customer’s requirement. 7) Oversee the new plant expansion, including new building construction, facility installation, equipment I/Q, and new plant layout design. 8) Reporting to the board of directors of the joint venture on behalf of the Delphi; manage and coordinate the relationship between other China plants, AP headquarter, and local government. ? Lean & Operating System Manager, AP, Delphi Packard, EEDS, Shanghai, 11/2007-3/2008. (Report to the Manufacturing & Lean Director, AP)1) Lead and manage the overall Lean Manufacturing and Operating System implementation according to Logical Kaizen Approach in 8 plants in China and help the coordinate the activity in the other 3 plants in India, Indonesia and Malaysia. 2) Lead MFG swim lane in Lean Enterprise and coordinate wth other swim lanes implementation of Enterprise Operation System in flow 4 & 5 (develop new product and provide service and goods). 3) Perform, lead, organize Lean workshops and coaching on site focusing on Improving Operational Performance 4) Advice and support local plant on continuous improvement activities to improve plant performance5) Monitor and implement MFG 101 practices, focusing on enhancing execution of the OS
6) Support Productivity improvement; coordinate with plants metrics performance, as well as best practices proliferation
